Real Madrid star ready to defy Zinedine Zidane and seal a move to this side

Alvaro Morata will ignore Zinedine Zidane’s pleas for him to stay at Real Madrid as he eyes a move to Chelsea, according to reports.

The Spaniard has struggled for game time under the Frenchman at Real Madrid this season with Karim Benzema his preferred choice.

Morata’s latest frustrations came on Tuesday night when he was an unused substitute in Real Madrid’s 4-2 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Despite a lack of game time, Zidane wants Morata to stay on at the Bernabeu next season.

But The Sun claim the attacker has no intention of doing so and is keen to move to Chelsea.

Antonio Conte is hoping to link up with the player he brought to Juventus prior to taking the Italy job back in 2014.

And with the Italian coach preparing for life without Diego Costa, Conte has made Morata his No1 summer target.

Morata, who has scored 19 goals for club and country this season, is under contract with Real until 2021.
