Real Madrid star Lucas Vazquez wanted by Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool are pushing to sign Real Madrid star Lucas Vazquez, according to Gazetta dello Sport.

It is believed that Jurgen Klopp has been an admirer of the Spanish midfielder for some time and will bid to bring him to Anfield this summer.

Vazquez has previously insisted that he does not know what his future will hold but just wanted to be playing football.

He was on loan at Espanyol last season - where he was reportedly first noticed by Klopp - but has mainly plied his trade for Real Madrid's B team.

It is thought that Vazquez is rated at around £10million.
