Real Madrid sports chief confirms Solari in Inter Milan talks

Real Madrid sports chief Jorge Valdano confirmed yesterday that the club hopes to sell Santiago Solari to Inter Milan this week.

Solari is expected to move to Italy as the final installment of Ronaldo's summer switch.

But the Argentine is reluctant to leave Madrid and Inter will spend this week trying to convince the midfielder to leave the European champs.

"The negotiations should be finalised at the end of this week," Valdano confirmed.

Solari and his agent will meet with Inter tomorrow for talks regarding the move.

If Inter fail to convince Solari to join them, Real will be forced to pay the Italians 10 million Euros as a final installment on Ronaldo's transfer.
