Real Madrid sound out Villarreal's Senna

Real Madrid are chasing Villarreal midfielder Marcos Senna.
 
Real vice-president Emilio Butragueno made contact with the Brazilian's representatives three weeks ago to sound out the midfielder about a possible summer move to Madrid.

Negotiations have stalled since the resignation of Fernando Martin as president, but Real remain interested in Senna, who has just over a year left on his Villarreal deal.

Arsenal are also following Senna and like Real have a good relationship with the midfielder's Brazilian representative company.
