Real Madrid skipper Raul could be out 6 months

Real Madrid captain Raul could be out for the season after suffering knee ligament damage in Saturday's defeat by Barcelona.

Raul injured his left knee while shooting and initial scans suggest the damage is so bad he could be out for between three and six months.

The striker will not make a decision over surgery until next month.
