Real Madrid signing Robinho: I rejected bigger Arsenal offer

Real Madrid's £20 million galactico Robinho has revealed he turned down a summer move to Arsenal.

The Spanish giants signed the Brazilian teenage sensation from Santos earlier this month and he finally arrived in Madrid on Friday.

Robinho, 21, insisted: "People said I chose Real because of their economic power but that is not true. I had better offers from clubs such as Arsenal, Barcelona and Inter Milan. I could have made more money by going elsewhere."
