Real Madrid set deadline to close deal for Tottenham's Bale

Real Madrid have set a deadline to close a deal for Tottenham star Gareth Bale.

The Daily Star says Real are confident they will win the battle for Bale – and have set a June 15 deadline for the deal to be done with Tottenham.

The Spanish giants raised the stakes by increasing their offer for the double Player of the Year to £60m.

Real are willing to match the wages on offer to Bale at White Hart Lane – and boost his income with an image rights deal.

And the Welsh wonder must now decide his future, with Real able to offer him Champions League football next season.
