Real Madrid schedule contract talks with Roberto Carlos

Real Madrid are set to open talks with Roberto Carlos next week over a new contract extension.

After it emerged yesterday that no movement had been made over the Brazilian's situation, with his current deal having less than 18 months to run, Real have decided to schedule talks with the wing-back's agent next week.

Roberto Carlos is seeking a new 12-month contract extension and indications are that Real sports chief Pedja Mijatovic will stick to his word in the summer and meet the 33 year-old's demands.
