Real Madrid's Woodgate impresses in Rayo Vallecano friendly

Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate came through another friendly on Wednesday against Rayo Vallecano.

Having already played against Leganes and also been a second-half substitute in the Bernabeu Trophy, Woodgate was impressive against Rayo, which won the game 2-1.

The England international is expected to be named amongst the substitutes for this weekend's clash with Celta Vigo.

Real coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo took charge of Wednesday's fixture and apart from Woodgate, also used the game to confirm the full fitness of midfielder Guti.
