Real Madrid's Soldado backs long-term Lopez Caro

Real Madrid striker Roberto Soldado is backing coach Juan Roman Lopez Caro to be the long-term boss.

Speaking after last night's Copa del Rey win at Athletic Bilbao, Soldado said: "We are very happy with him. If he stays here for a long time with this team then we will win some important things."

On the arrival of striker rival Antonio Cassano, Soldado added: "That's something that I prefer not to talk about. If with Cassano I don't play as much, then I will play with Real Madrid 'B', I know very clearly they are my team."
