Real Madrid's Solari wants £2M-a-year to join Barcelona

Real Madrid winger Santiago Solari has told Barcelona he wants £2 million-a-year to join them on a Bosman this summer.

The Argentine's demands are £200,000-a-year more than what he is currently on with Real Madrid. It would also make him one of the highest paid players at the club.

Only Ronaldinho and Carles Puyol are on more and their contracts were negotiated before president Joan Laporta took over last year.
