Real Madrid's Schuster: I wanted to beat Barcelona with Messi

Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster says he'd prefer to beat Barcelona this weekend with Lionel Messi in their line-up.

The Argentine whiz is out for 5-7 weeks with a thigh strain and after victory over Osasuna, Schuster lamented: "It's a blow for them, but also for the game itself because he is a very important player."

"I don't like it because I would rather have played against him. But these things happen in football."
