Real Madrid's Saviola: Everyone can learn from Raul

Javier Saviola admits Real Madrid captain Raul is a great example to all his teammates after his header in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Atletico.

"We have all seen the effort he has made in preseason," said the former Barcelona striker, "he has a great will, a desire, to play the way he does."

"We all can learn from him - the way he plays and the fight he shows when things aren't going right for him."

On his debut for Real, Saviola added: "I felt very comfortable. The fans welcomed me very well and I can only thank them for it."

"When you put on the Real Madrid shirt, you know the responsibility that you have to do great things. If the team continues to show the same effort the fans will stay with us."
