Real Madrid's Samuel rubbishes Italy return claims

Real Madrid defender Walter Samuel has rubbished reports that he wants to return to Italy.

The Argentina international was responding to press claims that he has instructed agents to make Serie A clubs aware that he is unsettled in Madrid and wants to return to Italy for the start of next season.

"I do not know how these reports could appear, because I have not spoken with anyone while on vacation," Samuel told AS. "Ever since I came to Real Madrid I am living a dream."

"For me, to play for this club is a dream, just like it is to play for Argentina. I said it when I arrived and I continue maintaining it."

"If things are to go well, then that depends on me, but my family and I am very happy."

"It is normal that when the things do not go well that such reports appear, but I have had nothing to do with it."
