Real Madrid defender Walter Samuel has been linked with Inter Milan.
 
The Argentina international has had an inconsistent first season in Spain and Inter coach Roberto Mancini is keen to bring the former AS Roma defender back to the Serie A.

Inter supremo Massimo Moratti is planning to fund a bid for Samuel by selling midfielder Emre, with Newcastle United and Everton having already been granted permission to speak with the Turk.
