Real Madrid's Salgado not on Juventus shopping list

Juventus director general Luciano Moggi has denied comments made by Real Madrid fullback Michel Salgado that he is moving to the Italian club in January.

"He can say what he wants, but Juve's transfer strategy is my area and I can say that Salgado does not enter our plans. We are happy and we are strong in his position," said Moggi yesterday.

However, the Juve chief added: "January is still a long way away and nothing can be ruled out."
