Real Madrid's Ronaldo sweats on new injury scan

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo will learn today the extent of his latest injury suffered in yesterday's 0-0 draw at Villarreal.
 
The Brazilian appears to have aggravated an injury to his right leg first suffered on the 29th of December in training.

Ronaldo has been plagued by injury this season, including major ankle ligament damage. He was forced from the field yesterday on 33 minutes.

"I believe that it has been just like what happened to me after the vacations," said Ronaldo, "because I noticed that little by little it was affecting me, just as what happened to me in that training session."
