Real Madrid's Ronaldo: It was a poor penalty

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo admits he took a poor penalty in yesterday's 0-0 draw with Valencia.
 
Ronaldo had the chance to win the game for Real in injury-time, but his feeble effort was easily saved by Valencia keeper Santiago Canizares.

The Brazilian said afterwards: "I have taken it very badly and Cañizares stopped it well."

"I have scored other goals, even involuntarily, but when things aren't going well, it is difficult. Only I can get away from this situation with good spirit and hard work."

On starting the game on the bench, Ronaldo added: "The coach did not say anything to me nor does he have to."
