Real Madrid's Ronaldo: I don't need to prove anything to anyone

Real Madrid wing ace Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed doubts over his quiet preseason form.

After featuring in the Santiago Bernabeu triumph over Rosenborg, the former Manchester United star snapped: "I don't have to prove anything to anybody. I am calm."

"I am improving game by game."

"I feel very comfortable with my teammates. I'm working and slowly improving. I'm sure things will work out right when we start the Liga."
