Real Madrid's Ronaldo denies quit claims

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has rubbished reports he will quit international football after next year's World Cup.
 
"I never said what has been published in Spain," said Ronaldo. "I have been misquoted."

"I never said that I was going to leave the national team after the next World Cup."

"The Brazilian national team is part of my life in the same way that football is."

"I haven't even started to think about the chance of putting an end to my career yet."

"I don't know what I am going to do in the future, but what I am sure of is that I will keep on playing for the national team while I keep on playing football and I am selected."
