The Brazil international is struggling with ankle ligament damage, but is doing double recovery sessions with Real medicos with a view to playing against Barca.
A Real medical team source told AS: "We're working so that he recovers fully and the Madrid-Barca game is a realistic target. The crucial thing is that we do not aggravate his injury by skipping steps."
Ronaldo also said: "I am optimistic to be ready for Madrid-Barcelona. I want to play in it. My injury is developing well."
