Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos: I won't leave for Chelsea

Real Madrid wing-back Roberto Carlos says he is staying with the Spanish club and won't be joining Chelsea this summer.

"It is correct," he told AS. "I will stay with Real Madrid. I do not want to leave the club after such a bad year."

"I want to leave a champion. I have already spoken with Jose Antonio Camacho and for that reason I have decided I want to stay."

"I have never said I want to leave. I've never spoken with Valdano or Perez about this. I want to renew for four years."
