Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos: I was misquoted

Real Madrid full back Roberto Carlos claims to have been misquoted over comments he intends to leave the Bernabeu for Chelsea in the summer.

The Brazilian left-back has been in protracted discussions with new boss Jose Antonio Camacho over his future in Spain.

"I have never talked with Chelsea about anything," he said to the Spanish press. "The comments I made were misinterpreted."

"I don't know how to say how delighted I am to play for Madrid, to live in the city and in Spain where I have my family."
