Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos: I'm not over-the-hill

Real Madrid wing-back Roberto Carlos has dismissed reports that he is "finished".

"People who are saying that do not have any idea about football," the Brazilian told AS.

"There are many people who comment without knowing the facts. The age of players retiring is rising all the time. Just look at Mauro Silva, Cafu, Maldini and Kahn."

"Teams need players who are 31, 32, 33. It is important that your team has players of experience."
