Real Madrid's Roberto Carlos: Casillas called for ball

Real Madrid wing-back Roberto Carlos insists Iker Casillas called for the ball during their mix-up which led to Samuel Eto'o's opener for Barcelona on Saturday.

Roberto Carlos and goalkeeper Casillas were left red-faced in the first-half as their misunderstanding allowed Eto'o to nick in-between the pair and walk the ball into an empty net.

But the Brazilian insisted yesterday: "I did nothing wrong. In the play of the first goal, Casillas asked me for the ball."

"We did not want to suffer this defeat, but these type of games can happen. We have committed individual errors that we must correct. They played well, that is clear."

"But they have won by some very precise plays. It is important to forget this."
