Real Madrid's Robben resumes training after injury

Real Madrid's Dutch winger Arjen Robben resumed team training Tuesday after more than a month out injured, the club said.

Robben, the Spanish champion's costliest pre-season signing at 36 million euros (53 million dollars), suffered a torn thigh muscle while away on national team duty in a Euro 2008 qualification match in mid-October.

The club estimated at the time he would be out for at least a month.

But just as Robben looked set to return, his fellow Dutch clubmate Ruud van Nistelrooy has come back injured from an international match.

Last season's Primera Liga top goal scorer suffered a muscle injury against Luxembourg on Saturday and is uncertain for this weekend's match at Murcia.
