Real Madrid's Raul: Getafe defeat shook us up

Real Madrid goal scorer Raul believes they've turned the corner after last night's victory over Barcelona.
 
Coming quickly on from last week's Champions League success at Steaua Bucharest, Raul declared: "The three points are great for morale and confidence. We've been able to continue on from what we did on Tuesday (at Steaua)."

"After the defeat at Getafe, we all knew things had to change. We realised that the mentality had to be different and that we had to confront all games like we did against Barcelona and in the Champions League."

"When everybody runs and works for eachother, we can have results like we did tonight."

Meanwhile, fellow goal scorer Ruud van Nistelrooy said: "The atmosphere from the fans helped us over the line. They were very important."

"We worked hard and pressed them a lot. We could have scored more than two."
