Real Madrid's Raul Bravo reveals Leeds purchase option

Raul Bravo says he agreed to move to Leeds United so to keep his place in Spain's national team.

The Real Madrid wing-back joined Leeds on Friday to the end of the season on-loan.

He said: "I need to play to stay in the national team. I wasn't getting that at Real Madrid and it's now very important that the Spain coach sees me play."

"In the end, the decision to join Leeds was mine. My representative and I were first contacted with the offer and we went to the club. But in the end it was my decision."

"I'm not sure about what options are involved in the transfer. I only know that there is an option to buy, but not until June."

"But I don't want to talk of sales. My dream, long-term, is to play for Real Madrid and I believe my experience here at Leeds will help me achieve that."
