Real Madrid's Raul aims for Arsenal return

Real Madrid captain Raul will avoid surgery on his injured knee after he came through a fitness test yesterday.

The Spanish striker was put under tests for 20 minutes, which included running and drills involving the ball, and came through with flying colours.

Real's medical staff are now agreed that Raul doesn't need surgery and instead will continue with his rehab with a view to being fit for the Champions League clash against Arsenal next month.
