Real Madrid's Queiroz wants January deals

Real Madrid trainer Carlos Queiroz has confirmed he hopes to bring in some new faces in January.

"By December I will sit down with the club's leaders and discuss where we can improve. But now is not that time," said the Portuguese coach.

Queiroz revealed he hoped to make new signings when the transfer window reopens, though refused to mention names.

He also defended last week's 4-1 humiliation at Seville: "The press have attacked us for that result. But our record is outstanding, this season has been the best start by a Real Madrid team in tens years."
