Real Madrid's Portillo rejects bumper Olympiakos offer

Real Madrid striker Javier Portillo has rejected a bumper contract offer from Olympiakos.

The Greek giants were willing to pay the young striker a cool £800,000-a-year, plus car and apartment, to bring him to Athens this season.

A meeting on Thursday was held between Portillo, his Dad and also agent Herminio Menéndez, for three hours as they considered Olympiakos' proposal. But in the end, Portillo chose to reject the offer.
