Real Madrid's Portillo admits Fiorentina struggle

Real Madrid striker Javier Portillo admits he has struggled in the first six months of his loan with Fiorentina.

"Its difficult to be on the bench and it does not appeal to anybody," said the Spaniard.

"Also to play, I would accept even going in goal, but I respect the decisions of coach Sergio Buso and it is my will to respect my contract in order to demonstrate I am ready to be a Fiorentina player and to play Italian football."

"But in order to do so, I cannot play once every three months."
