Real Madrid's Perez: Hierro, Del Bosque will sign 2-years deals

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has assured supporters that both Fernando Hierro and trainer Vicente del Bosque will be secured to new deals at the end of the season.

Club sports chief Jorge Valdano yesterday refused to confirm whether either of the pair would be offered new contracts in the summer.

But Perez said last night: "Hierro and Del Bosque will sign in the spring."

"We don't want to talk about it now because it may harm our chances in the competitions we are competing in."

"The normal thing is that both continue here and that they renew for two more years."

"Valdano has told me everything will go well and with normality."
