Real Madrid's Pavon wants to stay

Real Madrid defender Francisco Pavon has played down reports linking him with Liverpool.

"I do not have any intention of leaving in the course of the winter market," said Pavon. "Since the first day (under Fabio Capello) they have made me part of the plan."

"The important thing is that I am focused on doing my best when needed for the team."
