Real Madrid's Owen: It's been a great week!

Real Madrid match-winner Michael Owen admits it has been "a very positive week" for him after two goals in two games.

Owen followed up the midweek winner against Dinamo Kiev with his superb effort against Valencia on Saturday night in Real's 1-0 victory.

"We have played a very attractive game. This week has been very important for me and the team has come together," said Owen.

"In addition, we have obtained a very important triumph against a good team. We needed a little luck to score more goals. The two victories give confidence to all of us and they allow us to go forward with increasing confidence."
