Real Madrid's Owen: I could have joined Man Utd, Arsenal as kid

Real Madrid striker Michael Owen has revealed he could have joined Manchester United or Arsenal as a youngster.

The former Liverpool star told the BBC's Before They Were Famous: "Premier League sides who wanted to sign me on schoolboy forms are Man United, Man City, Everton and Arsenal - but I chose Liverpool because of the reasons of staying at home and having chances of winning honours when I'm older as well."
