Real Madrid's Owen house-hunting around Chelsea area

Real Madrid striker Michael Owen is in Chelsea sights.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho's hopes of signing an alternative striker to Didier Drogba have been dashed by failed pursuits of Internazionale's Adriano, Milan's Andrei Shevchenko, Samuel Eto'o of Barcelona and, most recently, David Trezeguet of Juventus.

He is now believed to be turning to Owen and the Daily Mail says the England ace has been house-hunting near the Chelsea training ground in Surrey and even viewed the pad of Scott Parker who is moving to Newcastle.
