Real Madrid's Morientes plays down Spurs, Roma rumours

Fernando Morientes insists he wants to stay with Real Madrid, despite rumours linking him with a summer exit.

Tottenham and AS Roma continue to be mentioned in reports with Morientes, but the Spanish striker said, "I have been here for six years and I'm not interested in listening to these rumours."

"I know my situation and lack of game time has probably created some of this speculation. But I have no intention of leaving Real Madrid."
