Real Madrid's Morientes considers Chelsea, Arsenal

Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes has told coach Jose Antonio Camacho he wants to leave.

The pair had crunch talks yesterday in which Camacho told the striker that he wanted to keep him next season. But, Morientes was brutally honest with the new Real trainer, insisting he wasn't interested in playing back-up for Ronaldo and Raul.

Morientes still has two years to run on his existing deal and wants an outright move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

AS says Arsenal and Chelsea have both tabled offers to the Spanish international, though both Premiership clubs are yet to approach Real about the striker's situation.
