Real Madrid's Metzelder admits frosty Schuster relationship

Real Madrid defender Christoph Metzelder admits he didn't see eye-to-eye with former coach Bernd Schuster.

Despite being fellow Germans, it's only been since the arrival of Juande Ramos that Metzelder has seen regular football at Real.

The defender said: "He (Schuster) did not make things easier. There was no special relationship with him. He comes from Alemania in southern Germany, where people are cold. We did not speak much."
