Real Madrid's Marcelo: Barcelona are now nervous

Real Madrid's players are convinced they can overhaul La Liga leaders Barcelona.

After victory on Saturday night at Espanyol, Real players were able to watch Atletico Madrid stun Barca 4-3 last night and cut their lead at the top of the table to four points.

Real striker Gonzalo Higuain declared: "Of course! I'm sure we can catch them."

Teammate Marcelo also said: "We all thought we could narrow the gap - and now we have. I know that Barca are nervous."

"This is the best Real have played since I joined."
