Real Madrid's Makelele, Geremi on Man Utd wanted list

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will try to lure midfield duo Claude Makelele and Geremi from Madrid, if Real offer a swap deal for David Beckham.

The Sunday Mirror claims that Real are prepared to only pay half of the £30 million sum, that Barcelona have already offered for him.

Real are also willing to include either McManaman, Solari or Guti in the Beckham deal.

However, Ferguson is not interested in any swap deal involving the trio and has reportedly contacted Madrid officials over throwing long-term target Makelele and Geremi into the deal.
