Real Madrid's Luxemburgo: We won't win Liga playing like that

Real Madrid kept the gap to seven points by defeating Real Zaragoza 3-1 later in the evening.

David Villa put the Bernabeu visitors into the lead on 20 minutes but Raul equalised shortly before half-time.

Ronaldo made it 2-1 nine minutes after the break before Michael Owen sealed the points in the closing stages.

Real coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo said afterwards: "I liked my team. We had patience and we moved the ball well. Also there was balance although I want much more."

"But in order to win the Champions League it is necessary to still improve more. Raul was very involved and guessed right for Ronaldo, but we cannot win the Liga as we played today."

Luxemburgo also gave a debut to Thomas Gravesen and added: "Gravesen is adapting, is watching his companions to know where he must play. He found it hard because he is accustomed to playing in England. It was a good debut."
