Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo wants president Florentino Perez to take a sterner approach to Ronaldo's attitude.

Luxemburgo is angry with the way the striker returned to Real training after his marriage celebrations and picked up an injury in training.

Ronaldo received a reprimand from general manager Arrigo Sacchi and Luxemburgo on Thursday, but club insiders say it was little more than a slap on the wrist.

DiarioSport says Luxemburgo is fed up with Ronaldo's antics and cannot understand why Perez has so far been prepared to treat the player with kid gloves.
