Real Madrid's Luxemburgo targets best of Brazilian league

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo's influence on the club's new signings is set to continue.

Having secured first refusal from Sao Paulo for Brazil international right-back Cicinho, Luxemburgo has submitted a shortlist of other Brazil-based talents Real should be keeping tabs on.

Top of the pile is Uruguay international stopper Diego Lugano, a teammate of Cicinho's at Sao Paulo. Also wanted by Luxemburgo is his former Santos midfielder Ricardinho and Cruzeiro centre-half Edu Dracena.
