Real Madrid's Luxemburgo: Nothing sinister in Beckham substitution

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo defended his decision to substitute David Beckham during Wednesday night's 3-1 shock at Deportivo La Coruna.

"I decided to change him because he was not playing well," said Luxemburgo. "During the first-half he was not very well. I suppose that the problem is that he had a little injury, although I have not asked him yet."

"It was a normal change where he was not well, it is not necessary to look for other things."
