Real Madrid's Lopez Caro takes Beckham gamble

Real Madrid coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro is gambling with his position after leaving David Beckham on the bench for yesterday's 1-1 draw with Getafe.
 
Lopez Caro is reportedly upset that Beckham has been playing with an injury without letting him know and this led to the England captain being benched last night.

Twice Lopez Caro sent Beckham to warm-up in the second-half and twice he told the midfielder to sit back down. At the final whistle, Beckham chose not to acknowledge the Santiago Bernabeu fans, the first time observers have noted this, and instead charged down the players' race.

The last time Beckham was left on the bench was last season against Espanyol - a week later Jose Antonio Camacho had left the club.
