Real Madrid's Leeds target Bravo "flattered" by interest

Real Madrid left-back Raul Bravo admits he is "flattered" by the interest of other clubs.

Bravo, a regular in Spain's Euro 2004 qualifying squad, but a permanent reserve at Real, has been linked with Leeds United and also bitter Spanish rivals Barcelona.

The 21 year-old said yesterday: "Of course, my situation is a unique case."

"What I would really like is to be a first-choice in my team, that way I would have a better chance of playing with the national team."

"I know that there is a lot of interest from other clubs in me. It is very flattering and means that I must be doing something right!"

"It's important to remember that both I and Real Madrid have decided that I will stay for this season. But after that, who knows? We'll see what will happen next year."
