Real Madrid's Lass insists Ronaldo doesn't need protection

Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra insists teammate Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't deserve special protection from referees.

Lass explained: "Both Ronaldo and Messi are players who by their position are more likely to be fouled, but we must not forget that there are 22 players on the pitch and we should all be treated equally."

"However much more vulnerable and whether we give more spectacle, we are all equal."
