Real Madrid's Kaka contract offer worth £40M

Real Madrid have tabled AC Milan ace Kaka one of the world's richest playing contracts.

Sources have told AS that Kaka's Dad, Bosco Leite, has received a five-year contract offer worth £6 million-a-year AFTER TAX. The deal would in effect be worth £8 million-a-season.

Milan, due to Italy's strict wage laws, simply cannot compete with Real's spending power and can only raise Kaka's present £3.75 million-a-year deal another £350,000.

While Real president Ramon Calderon has publicly declared they're cooling their pursuit of the Brazilian, their contract offer remains on the table. Diego Kotscho, a spokesperson for Kaka, recently admitted: "The proposal from Madrid is very good."
